The Affinity MX series is an updated version of the Maxim series.
An extremely smooth a forgiving fast action that is easy to load and
delivers predictably. More powerful through the upper area than the
Affinity One series, the MX provides the angler with quicker recovery
and more punch in the short to medium range.

- Affinity Plus Double Handed Fly Blanks
The
classic progressiv taper, flex and speed of recovery will allow
efficient delivery of all contemporary two handed line systems.
Scandi shooting heads, and classic underhand power delivery technique
will inherently require tip loading. The Affinity Plus DH tapers with a
very economic stoke, utilizing only minimal applied dominant underhand
power.
Minimal anchor "touch and go" deliveries typical of classic Scandi
shooting line systems will require utilizing only the 2/3 of the
Affinity Plus DH tapers for maximum performance.The longer bellied
classic Spey tapers will inherently demand a far deeper reserve of
blank load. The efficient delivery of classic bellied Spey tapers will
ask the caster to perform a longer stroke and wider hand spread. The
power source (with these lines) will ask for an even and balanced high
hand/low and power in cordination with slightly dominant low hand power
at the shot.
The Affinity Plus DH tapers have the butt reserve to transfer power
well into the cork when asked; and will deliver the longer bellied
classic Spey tapers with a sensual autorithy that is a joy to have in
hand.

- Affinity Skagit Taper Double Handed Fly Blanks
With
classic Spey tapers: The Affinity SK DH rods are very autoritive in the
delivery of mid to long belly Classic Spey tapers, and will do
especially well with full sink Spey tapers and heavy flies. Mid to long
belly Spey tapers will inherently ask for a wider stroke. This best
done with an even high hand/low hand power push, and a slight underhand
power at the end of the stroke.
